Sasha Khait
Hey, my name is Sasha Khait, and I am a current junior at Bellevue High School. I chose to help lead this organization because I believe that the importance of waste management is severely under taught and I think that even if I make the smallest difference, I can have a large beneficial effect on the future of my community. Outside of being part of this organization, I am part of the school’s wrestling team and I also love cooking and working out with my friends. My goal for this organization is to be able to teach young students about the importance of waste management, and for them to be able to take these ideas with them for the rest of their lives.

Yash Kothari
Hi, my name is Yash Kothari. I’m a sophomore at Bellevue High. I play water polo and am in debate club and am also involved with volunteering within the Mauritian community, an island in Africa where I am from, and the Indian community. I am passionate about raising awareness regarding sustainability among youth in our area. I decided to join the Green Collective as I saw it as a way to increase advocacy specifically towards the next generation, and to educate them on issues that are less mainstream, like waste management. My overall goal is to halve my carbon output and to be able to reach and teach hundreds if not thousands of kids about the sustainability issues that are most important.

Ezra Lee
Hello everyone, my name is Ezra Lee and I am currently a junior at Bellevue High School. I recently moved to Bellevue from Seattle, and I’m passionate about environmental sciences as well as animals! I am the proud owner of a Russian tortoise named pickles, and my Pomeranian, Snowball. Growing up in the Puget Sound—one of the most naturally beautiful regions in the United States—I have seen firsthand how pollution has affected our environment. Whether it’s garbage in the ocean, or irregular weather, the environment is deteriorating, and it must come to an end! That’s why I joined The Green Collective as a educator, so that I can help teach and inspire as many people as possible about waste management and the environment in general!

David Hong
Greetings my fellow intellectuals! It’s your sustainability superhero, David Hong, here to bring the wacky and wild world of sustainability straight to your doorstep! Back in the day, I was all about them Boy Scouts, learning the ropes of how to save planet while singing campfire songs and roasting marshmallows. But hold onto your hats, ‘cause when I’m not busy being a tree-huggin’ warrior, I’m tearin’ up the virtual battlefield as the Valorant E-Sports champ with a KD ratio so high, it’s practically in the clouds! And guess what? I’m not just a keyboard warrior— I’m also slammin’ hoops on the court like a pro, droppin’ buckets left and right! SWOOSHHH! So buckle up, buttercups, ‘cause we’re about to dive headfirst into the craziest, goofies, most eco-friendly adventure of our lives!
